Rangers manager Derek McInnes last night warned his side they have to ramp up the killer instinct in front of goal after branding their attacking stats in the semi-final win over Aberdeen 'embarrassing'.

Rangers manager Derek McInnes has warned his players to improve their finishing after calling their attacking statistics "embarrassing" in a 1-0 Premier Sports Cup semi-final victory over Aberdeen. Despite controlling the match at Hampden, Rangers managed only five shots on target from 25 attempts before striker Ryan Naderi secured the win with an 83rd-minute goal.
McInnes criticized his team's decision-making in the final third, specifically urging wide players such as Badredine Bouanani and Kim Min-su to deliver more goals and assists. While acknowledging the youth and inexperience in his attack, the manager emphasized that Rangers must become more clinical to secure silverware in the upcoming final.
