Vaclav Cerny returned to Glasgow after Skooshgate, but it was the former Rangers hero who was left as the butt of the joke after failing to deliver against Celtic.
Former Rangers winger Vaclav Cerny endured a difficult return to Glasgow as his Besiktas side suffered a 3-2 defeat against Celtic at Parkhead. Celtic secured the victory behind a double from Camilo Duran and a decisive goal by Callum Osmand. Cerny failed to make an impact and was substituted in the 83rd minute.
The performance comes amid mounting transfer speculation regarding Cerny's future in Turkey. Besiktas manager Vincenzo Italiano has reportedly identified Kosovo international Edon Zhegrova as a potential replacement if Cerny, who has managed only one goal since August, departs the club.
