The Tartan Army hero, 29, recently underwent a procedure after being diagnosed with a minor heart issue

Napoli have confirmed that midfielder Scott McTominay has resumed gym work following heart surgery for a benign arrhythmia. The 29-year-old Scotland international missed Napoli's previous four matches and was left out of Sebastien Pocognoli's national squad while recovering from the non-serious condition. Napoli stated that McTominay returned to the training center to carry out a separate gym routine during the international window.
McTominay is reportedly targeting a return to action against Frosinone after the international break. In his absence, ninth-placed Napoli have won just one of four games. He is expected to receive clearance to rejoin Scotland for their international fixtures against North Macedonia and Switzerland in November.
