There were some big name departures from Ibrox as yet another new manager oversaw yet another rebuild…

Rangers manager Derek McInnes oversaw a massive squad overhaul following his arrival, with 19 players departing the club in the summer transfer window. Key exits included former captain James Tavernier, goalkeeper Jack Butland, and midfielder Mohamed Diomande, while defender John Souttar remained after a prospective move to Greek side Aris failed to materialize.
Several departures moved on permanent transfers, including Tavernier to Maccabi Tel Aviv, Butland to Hull City, and Diomande to FK Corum. Other players departed on loan or saw temporary spells expire, including Danilo joining Botafogo on loan and Max Aarons returning to Bournemouth.
