The Norway World Cup star is on loan in Brussels until the end of the season with the Belgian club holding an option to buy

Thelo Aasgaard has revealed he left Rangers for Anderlecht because he felt he needed a change of scene and a new turn in his career. The 24-year-old Norwegian international joined the Belgian club on a season-long loan deal near the end of the summer transfer window after spending just one season at Ibrox.
Aasgaard explained that Anderlecht's size, style of play, and the opportunity to showcase his technical ability in another country influenced his choice. The loan agreement reportedly contains an option for Anderlecht to purchase the midfielder permanently for around £6 million.
