The Croatian star spoke exclusively to the Daily Record’s ‘In Conversation’ about his time at Tannadice

Vicko Sevelj has spoken publicly for the first time regarding his transfer from Dundee United to Azerbaijani club Neftci. The Croatian defender explained that the move was beneficial for all parties, as he had entered the final year of his contract and the Scottish Premiership club secured a significant six-figure fee under their player trading model.
Reflecting on his two-year spell at Tannadice, Sevelj recalled overcoming a difficult debut against Falkirk before becoming a fan favorite. His highlights included scoring in a Dundee derby victory, helping manager Jim Goodwin's side finish fourth to qualify for European football, and competing in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.
