Amorim: ‘An amazing Milan night, but we’ll have bad moments too’

AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim celebrated a 3-1 win over Inter in his first Derby della Madonnina on October 31, 2026. Despite the vital victory at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Amorim cautioned supporters that the team will still face challenging moments during their rebuilding process. AC Milan built an early two-goal cushion within ten minutes before sealing the victory.

Diego Moreira led the performance with a goal and two assists for Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot. Alessandro Bastoni scored Inter's lone goal from a Hakan Calhanoglu corner. Amorim praised the return of Moreira, Rabiot, and Mario Gila following a midweek defeat to Bologna, while emphasizing that winning the Serie A title will take time.
