USMNT striker Folarin Balogun has emerged as Juventus' primary attacking target for the upcoming January transfer window, according to Tuttosport. The Italian club is seeking further reinforcements in attack after signing Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade in the summer. Agent Jorge Mendes reportedly maintains an excellent relationship with the Bianconeri and is open to facilitating a deal for the 25-year-old Monaco forward.
Balogun is expected to leave Monaco after playing only 74 minutes this season. A proposed £40 million (€48m) permanent transfer to Everton collapsed on summer deadline day when Balogun refused to sign following his medical tests. Although Juventus are also tracking Atletico Madrid's Alexander Sorloth and Frosinone's Antonio Raimondo, Balogun remains their top priority.
