A mural honoring legendary defender Franco Baresi outside Casa Milan has been vandalized for the second time, just weeks after being restored. According to reports from MilanNews24 and Tgcom24, black paint was used to deface the captain's armband, the Milan crest on Baresi's shorts, and the European Cup he is depicted holding aloft in Piazza Gino Valle.
The artwork, created by street artist Luca Rosada, was originally vandalized with red spray paint on September 27 before being restored and unveiled on October 10. The repeated vandalism of the tribute to Baresi, who passed away in late July at age 66, has sparked renewed outrage among Milan supporters.
