Bierhoff hopes ‘perfect’ Tresoldi picks Germany amid links to Milan: “But also with heart”

Former AC Milan striker Oliver Bierhoff has urged young forward Nicolo Tresoldi to choose the German national team, describing him as a perfect solution to Germany's attacking challenges. Speaking to ProSieben, Bierhoff confirmed that the German Football Association is already in contact with the striker, while advising that his international decision must come from the heart alongside sporting factors.

Tresoldi has also attracted strong transfer interest from AC Milan, with reports indicating club owner Gerry Cardinale is pushing for a permanent move as early as January. The forward is valued at approximately €50 million following a recent hat-trick at San Siro, with Milan reportedly seeking to bolster their attack without hindering Francesco Camarda's development.
