Chelsea want ‘excellent’ France star – it could be the best deal of 2027

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Como captain Lucas da Cunha and are plotting a permanent move for the midfielder in 2027. The 25-year-old France international has experienced a rapid rise under manager Cesc Fabregas, transitioning from an attacking winger into a deep-lying midfield playmaker.

Da Cunha recently made his senior debut for France under Zinedine Zidane during a 1-0 win against Belgium. Despite extending his contract with Como until 2031, Chelsea and other Premier League clubs are closely monitoring his performances as the Blues seek a partner for Moises Caicedo.
