Sixteen AC Milan players represented their respective national teams during the October international window, leaving manager Ruben Amorim with a depleted training squad. Highlights across the break included strong showings from Portugal forward Goncalo Ramos, who scored three goals and provided an assist in four matches, and Belgium winger Diego Moreira. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan kept two clean sheets for France, while Swiss duo Ardon Jashari and Zachary Athekame helped Switzerland win all four of their fixtures.
Several other Rossoneri faced more challenging outings during the international break. Adrien Rabiot was limited to just two minutes under France coach Zinedine Zidane, while Luka Modric experienced heavy defeats with Croatia despite scoring a winner against Czechia. In injury news, defender Strahinja Pavlovic managed heavy minutes despite a fatigue scare with Serbia, and Ecuador fullback Pervis Estupinan avoided long-term injury after concerns arose during his call-up.
