Gennaro Gattuso looks back over his ill-fated Italy experience where ‘incidents went against us,’ but…
Lazio head coach Gennaro Gattuso reflected on his past Italy stint while emphasizing his team's enthusiasm ahead of hosting Cagliari at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday. Despite Lazio sharing the top of the Serie A table, Gattuso stated the primary objective remains reaching 40 points, cautioning against complacency with 29 matches still to play.
Gattuso praised his squad's mentality and training intensity following recent strong performances, though he warned of Cagliari's counter-attacking threat. He also confirmed that club president Claudio Lotito maintains regular contact and plans to dine with the squad before the match.
