Heavy rain and poor pitch conditions prevented the Italy national team from training Monday morning…

The Italy national team was forced to cancel its final training session on Monday morning ahead of a Nations League match against Turkiye. Heavy rain in Bursa resulted in poor pitch conditions, preventing head coach Roberto Mancini from conducting on-pitch set-piece routines and tactical preparations. Instead, the Azzurri conducted an indoor muscle-activation session at their hotel.
Sunday was the only opportunity for Mancini to test his starting lineup, as players who featured in Friday's game against Belgium did not participate in pitch training on Saturday. Alessandro Bastoni is set to return to the starting XI following a one-game suspension, while Matteo Ruggeri and Michael Kayode are anticipated to make their debuts.
