Scott McTominay made his return to action for Napoli after undergoing heart surgery four weeks ago. The 29-year-old Scotland midfielder received a standing ovation from the crowd when he came on as a substitute for David Neres during a Serie A match against Frosinone.

McTominay had been diagnosed with a mild, benign cardiac arrhythmia and had corrective surgery performed in Manchester on September 8. After two weeks of rest, gradual training, and medical clearance from the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI), he was cleared to resume full sporting activity.
