Official: Supercoppa Italiana Inter vs. Lazio at San Siro on December 22

Lega Serie A has confirmed that the 2026/27 Supercoppa Italiana will be played as a single match between Inter and Lazio at San Siro on the evening of December 22. The decision scraps the Final Four format previously used for the tournament, returning the competition to its traditional one-off setup.

The tournament had been held in Saudi Arabia for the past four editions, but the country declined its hosting option for this season. The matchup serves as a rematch of the May 2026 Coppa Italia Final, following Inter's Scudetto and Coppa Italia double under head coach Cristian Chivu.
