Journalist Carlo Pellegatti suggested that Fikayo Tomori regaining top form could prompt AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim to deploy Mario Gila in the center of defence. Pellegatti discussed Tomori's recovery status and tactical possibilities on his YouTube channel, noting that Gila could partner Matteo Gabbia or Koni De Winter in the Rossoneri backline.
Tomori was previously placed on the market but was reinstated late in August after an exit failed to materialize and Milan missed out on Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio. Although the English defender has not yet featured this season, upcoming fixture congestion may provide him opportunities to play.
