Milan fumbled the lead with an Alphadjo Cisse brace, as Samuel Mbangula’s hat-trick gave Bologna…

Samuel Mbangula scored a hat-trick to lead Bologna to a 4-2 victory over AC Milan at San Siro, handing manager Ruben Amorim his first Serie A defeat. Milan had briefly taken the lead through an Alphadjo Cisse brace after Mbangula's early opener. However, an own goal by Davide Bartesaghi and two further strikes from Mbangula secured the win for the visitors.
Milan faced an extensive injury list and rotated key players ahead of the upcoming Milan derby, but suffered another setback when defender Fikayo Tomori was forced off before half-time. Juan Miranda proved instrumental for Bologna off the bench, providing the cross for the own goal and assisting Mbangula's second strike, before Jens Odgaard set up Mbangula's final goal to seal the result.
