Serie B club Juve Stabia docked another 2 points after fraud investigation

Serie B club Juve Stabia has been docked an additional two points following a fraud investigation involving their patron, Alfredo Guerri. Authorities in Naples seized –153 million from Guerri, who is accused of tax credit irregularities tied to building companies he owned between 2021 and 2024. This latest penalty leaves the club with just one point after five rounds of the season.

While the investigation targets Guerri personally rather than the club itself, it has caused significant instability just two months after he took control. The probe revealed that financial stability documents presented in April to register for the 2026/27 season were invalid. In response to the crisis, Juve Stabia has appointed Alfonso Morrone as their new President.
