Viviano on Milan forward Ramos: ‘At Juventus he’d have 5 goals by now’

Former goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano argued that AC Milan striker Goncalo Ramos would have scored five league goals by now if he played for Juventus instead. Speaking to Cronache di Spogliatoio, Viviano claimed the Portuguese forward is currently underserved by Milan's tactical system and playing style.

Viviano explained that manager Ruben Amorim's side plays too vertically and relies heavily on transitions rather than maintaining dominant possession. Consequently, Ramos spends excessive time dropping deep to link play instead of operating inside the penalty box where he is strongest.
