AC Milan loanees Youssouf Fofana and Zachary Athekame both scored for their respective loan clubs on September 19, 2026. Fofana scored his first goal for Sevilla by heading in the opening goal in a match against Barcelona, though Sevilla ultimately lost the game. Meanwhile, Athekame recorded a goal and an assist for Lyon in their 3-0 victory over Stade Rennes.
Both players left AC Milan during the summer transfer window on loan deals. Athekame, playing as a right-back, has enjoyed a strong start to his loan spell with Lyon, registering two goals and two assists in his first six appearances of the season.
