Anthony Joshua is preparing for a potential fight against Tyson Fury by involving trainer Ben Davison in his training camp. Joshua has recently spent time working around Oleksandr Usyk's team in Spain and maintaining ties with Derrick James in Texas, but he has returned to Davison's gym in Essex. Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that Davison will definitely be involved in Joshua's camp and strategic process.

Davison trained the elusive, lighter version of Fury in 2018, but Fury has since transitioned to a heavier, more physical Kronk style under trainer SugarHill Steward. Hearn noted that Joshua's final decision regarding the location of his permanent training camp has not yet been finalized.
