Anthony Olascuaga Faces Seven-Fight Challenger Yuberjen Martinez

Anthony Olascuaga will defend his WBO flyweight title against unbeaten challenger Yuberjen Martinez on November 14 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The bout will take place on the undercard of Diego Pacheco versus Darius Fulghum, broadcast on DAZN and TNT Sports. This fight marks Olascuaga's first professional bout in front of his home Los Angeles crowd following his signing with Matchroom Boxing.

Martinez enters the 12-round title fight with a 7-0 record, featuring seven knockouts, alongside an Olympic silver medal. Boxing News 24 notes that while Martinez possesses elite amateur pedigree, the challenger faces a significant step up against an established world champion. The bout presents Martinez with an opportunity to claim a world title early in his professional career.
