The Story in 60 Seconds

Armando Resendiz defeated Australian fighter Mazoudier by unanimous decision in a non-title super-middleweight bout at The Cosmopolitan. The judges scored the contest 98-92, 97-93, and 97-93 in favor of Mexico's Resendiz. Serving as the co-main event on a Premier Boxing Champions card, Resendiz responded from a May title loss against Jaime Munguia by landing key power punches, including a decisive 10th-round right hand that sealed his victory.

Resendiz originally entered the card as a replacement for the injured Jermall Charlo. The event was reduced to five bouts after Brandon Figueroa withdrew from his featherweight title clash against Tomoki Kameda due to illness. Elsewhere on the card, super-middleweight Marco Romero secured a first-round knockout over Braulio Ferreira, while middleweight Jaime Osuna earned a majority decision win against Cristian Cangelosi.
