Daniel Dubois is embracing his place as one of the top heavyweights of a new generation. The big-punching Brit became a two-time champion when he beat Fabio Wardley in May – a fight-of-the-year contender that saw ‘DDD’ down twice early…

British heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois has claimed he does not receive enough credit for his June 2024 victory over Filip Hrgovic. Dubois defeated Hrgovic via an eleventh-round stoppage due to cuts. Following Hrgovic's recent upset victory against Moses Itauma to capture the IBF title, Dubois stated that he broke Hrgovic down and made him look for a way out during their bout.
Dubois is currently preparing for an October 17 rematch against Fabio Wardley, whom he defeated in May to become a two-time champion. Meanwhile, Hrgovic is expected to make his first IBF title defense against mandatory challenger Frank Sanchez. If both Dubois and Hrgovic win their upcoming bouts, a unification fight could occur in 2027.
