Deontay Wilder has reportedly agreed to fight undefeated cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia on the undercard of Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua. According to journalist Dan Rafael, a deal is in place for the matchup at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on December 11, although contracts remain unsigned.
Wilder previously defeated Derek Chisora by split decision in April before negotiations for this heavyweight bout developed. Opetaia, who holds 24 knockouts across 31 career victories, is set to move up in weight class to face the former WBC heavyweight champion.
