Filip Hrgovic Rematch Tests Queensberry’s Faith in Itauma

Filip Hrgovic has expressed a strong desire for a rematch against Moses Itauma after stopping the young heavyweight in the ninth round of their August 29 bout. Hrgovic stated he can improve on his initial victory by throwing more punches and fighting more aggressively. However, Hrgovic must first face mandatory challenger Frank Sanchez before any potential return bout could materialize.

Boxing News 24 argues that a potential rematch poses a major developmental dilemma for Itauma's promoters, Queensberry. The outlet suggests Itauma requires durable opponents who can extend him into deeper rounds and test his pacing before his team should consider matching him against Hrgovic again.
