Floyd Mayweather, 49, lined up for shock boxing return as Netflix ‘keen on two-fight deal’

Floyd Mayweather is reportedly being targeted by streaming platform Netflix for a two-fight deal featuring professional bouts against Manny Pacquiao and Ryan Garcia. According to World Boxing News, the potential schedule could see the 49-year-old American renew his rivalry with Pacquiao in May 2027 before facing Garcia later that year or in early 2028. Both contests would reportedly be sanctioned as professional bouts, putting Mayweather's undefeated 50-0 record at risk.

Mayweather has not competed in an official professional bout since defeating Conor McGregor in 2017, although he has participated in several exhibitions. Garcia claimed on social media that he has agreed to fight Mayweather, which could offer the veteran a chance to become the oldest world champion in boxing history. However, no formal deal with Netflix has been announced, and Mayweather would still require licensing clearance from athletic commissions.
