Unbeaten middleweight George Liddard will challenge Michel Soro for the IBO middleweight title on December 12 at the Salle des Étoiles in Monte Carlo, Matchroom announced. The 24-year-old Liddard enters the bout with a 15-0 record after capturing British, Commonwealth, and European titles, most recently stopping Dario Morello in August.
Soro claimed the vacant IBO belt with a stoppage win over Hassan Mwakinyo in June and offers extensive experience against former world champions. The DAZN-streamed event also features Josh Padley facing Moussa Gholam for the interim WBA super featherweight title.
