Eddie Hearn admits Terence Crawford never defeated an elite fighter in their prime, and that assessment exposes the truth about Crawford’s carefully constructed record. Jaron
Promoter Eddie Hearn has stated that Terence Crawford never faced an elite or generational great in their prime during his career. Hearn suggested that a matchup against Jaron "Boots" Ennis would provide Crawford with that ultimate test. While Crawford has claimed he would easily defeat Ennis, Ennis remains adamant that Crawford could not survive a fight against him.
According to the report, Crawford's past victories came against compromised opposition, including Errol Spence Jr. after a major car accident and Shawn Porter just before his retirement. Crawford recently retired after defeating a 35-year-old Canelo Alvarez, leaving the 29-year-old Ennis calling for a fight against him.
