Manny Pacquiao Says He Faced One Fighter Who Had Better Skills Than Floyd Mayweather

Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao revealed that he considers Mexican great Juan Manuel Marquez to be a more skilled opponent than Floyd Mayweather. Speaking in an interview with The Ring Magazine, the eight-division world champion explained that Marquez was the only opponent who truly figured out his style and anticipated his movements in the ring, calling him a brilliant counterpuncher and warrior.

Pacquiao faced Mayweather in May 2015, losing by unanimous decision in their highly publicized welterweight unification bout. However, Pacquiao shared an iconic four-fight rivalry with Marquez, which concluded in December 2012 when Marquez scored a memorable knockout victory over the Filipino fighter.
