Trainer Peter Fury has stated that the upcoming rematch between Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley remains a 50/50 contest. Wardley activated his rematch clause to challenge Dubois for the WBO title at London's O2 Arena after suffering an 11th-round stoppage in their initial bout.
Speaking to Boxing King Media, Fury acknowledged Dubois' high confidence and jab, but cautioned against writing off Wardley due to his early knockdown success. Dubois recovered from knockdowns in rounds one and three during their first meeting before securing the late stoppage.
