These three domestic performers have built strong cases for an India ODI call-up.
CricTracker highlights Devdutt Padikkal, Tilak Varma, and Sai Sudharsan as three young batters who could push for spots in India's ODI lineup. Padikkal boasts a List A average of 82.23 alongside Test centuries against Sri Lanka, while Varma brings strong T20I form, domestic hundreds for South Zone, and five prior ODI caps. Sai Sudharsan rounds out the list following two half-centuries in three previous ODIs and an impressive List A average of 59.80.
All three left-handers have demonstrated strong form across recent domestic fixtures, India A series, and international outings. Padikkal recently captained India A against Australia A, while Varma helped India retain Asian Games gold, and Sudharsan registered multiple centuries against Sri Lanka A.
