The Story in 60 Seconds

South African spinner Simon Harmer warned that spin will play a massive role as the series-deciding third Test against Australia tightens at Newlands in Cape Town. Australia seized the advantage late on Day 3 when Nathan Lyon dismissed Temba Bavuma, leaving the Proteas leading by only 40 runs with six wickets remaining.

Earlier, Josh Inglis scored 102 as Australia secured a 100-run first-innings lead. Despite losing late wickets, Harmer voiced confidence in exploiting footmarks, stating that setting a fourth-innings target of around 200 runs could challenge Australia.
