Cricket Australia and the BCCI have established an umpire exchange program for the 2026-27 season. Australian umpire Ben Treloar has been appointed to officiate two Ranji Trophy matches, starting with Delhi against Gujarat and followed by Mumbai against Haryana.
In return, Indian umpire Parashar Joshi will officiate in Australia, taking charge of two Sheffield Shield fixtures and one One Day Cup match during November 2026. The exchange aims to provide domestic officials from both countries with valuable first-class cross-border officiating experience.
