The Story in 60 Seconds

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has contacted the Afghanistan Cricket Board to raise serious concerns over umpiring decisions during their Under-19 one-day series in Muscat. Bangladesh team management alleged that Afghanistan Under-19 captain Sohail Khan bowled an 11th over in the third match, exceeding the standard ten-over limit. The management presented video evidence to match referee Yasir Latifzai, explaining that the over was mistakenly credited by the scorer to Shah Faisal Rahimi.

Bangladesh Under-19 head coach Hannan Sarkar confirmed the issue was officially included in the captain's report via an appended note. Bangladesh also raised objections regarding multiple lbw and caught-behind decisions during the series. The BCB game development committee subsequently emailed the ACB, advising them to exercise greater care in future bilateral series.
