Chase backs other batters to step up in the absence of Hope, who has been rested…

West Indies captain Roston Chase has urged his team's inexperienced players to approach conditions in Bangladesh with an open mind ahead of their two-match Test series starting Wednesday. With only five squad members having previous Test experience in Bangladesh, Chase emphasized playing every ball on merit without preconceived expectations about spin or seam.
Chase noted that the Shere Bangla National Stadium pitch in Dhaka appears dry underneath and will likely assist spin. The visitors are also adapting to the absence of in-form batter Shai Hope, who was rested following his recent performances in India.
