England batter Zak Crawley signs a one-year contract extension at Kent to keep him at the club next summer.

England batter Zak Crawley has signed a one-year contract extension with Kent to keep him at the county next summer. The agreement comes three days after the England and Wales Cricket Board chose not to renew his central contract. Crawley last played a Test match during the previous winter's Ashes tour in Sydney and made his most recent England appearance in a January one-day international.
Crawley featured in 12 County Championship matches this season, scoring 608 runs to help Kent earn promotion back to Division One. Director of cricket Simon Cook praised the 28-year-old's dressing room presence and international experience, noting his willingness to mentor the squad's younger batters.
