Matthew Gilkes hit his first century in professional cricket and Jerrssis Wadia snared three wickets in the 70-run win

Matthew Gilkes scored his maiden professional century and Jerrssis Wadia took three wickets to lead South Australia to a 70-run one-day victory over Victoria at Junction Oval. Gilkes struck 127 off 115 balls to rescue South Australia from early trouble and post 311. Victoria looked competitive during a 114-run stand between Ollie Peake and Liam Blackford, but collapsed to 241 all out.
Wadia proved decisive with his left-arm spin, finishing with 3-37 from 10 overs, which included the wicket of Glenn Maxwell. Victoria lost 5-42 following Peake's dismissal for 73, while an injured Sam Elliott was unable to bat.
