This year has seen Alice Capsey enter her wicketkeeping era, first for England and now for the Sydney Sixers…

Alice Capsey has embraced her new role as wicketkeeper for the Sydney Sixers during WBBL|12, stepping in behind the stumps following the retirement of Alyssa Healy. Originally identified as England's back-up wicketkeeper earlier this year, Capsey became the primary choice for the Sixers after local option Maddy Darke was sidelined with an injury.
The 22-year-old all-rounder, who plays alongside England teammate Sophia Dunkley, highlighted her enjoyment of the challenging transition as the Sixers opened their campaign with consecutive victories against the Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes.
