New Zealand are determined to ensure key batter Rachin Ravindra is fit to play Australia, as he sits out the upcoming ODIs against India…

New Zealand batter Rachin Ravindra has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against India due to an ongoing shoulder injury. The 26-year-old previously missed the five-match T20I series against India and will be rested to ensure he recovers in time for the upcoming Test tour of Australia.
New Zealand coach Rob Walter explained that Ravindra's shoulder has not healed enough for white-ball fielding and the team wants to avoid risks. Teammate Mark Chapman will also miss the series with a hamstring injury. The four-match Test series against Australia begins on December 9 in Perth.
