Left carrying drinks through the T20 World Cup, Megan Schutt has issued a timely reminder to selectors as Australia switch to the shortest format

Megan Schutt has pushed her case for a T20I recall following a dominant performance in Australia's ODI series sweep against Bangladesh in Brisbane. The veteran fast bowler took 10 wickets at an average of 7.1 across three matches at Allan Border Field. Her campaign finished with figures of 4-16 in an eight-wicket win during the third ODI, where she bowled an unbroken 10-over opening spell.
Stand-in captain Tahlia McGrath praised the 33-year-old's consistency and versatility across all phases of the innings ahead of the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand. Schutt, who featured just once during the recent T20 World Cup, faces competition for selection from returning fast bowler Lucy Hamilton. Australia will play three T20Is at North Sydney Oval beginning on Sunday.
