South Africa power to ODI series win as Australia’s middle order struggles again

South Africa secured an unassailable 2-0 ODI series victory over Australia with a 32-run win in Johannesburg. Batting first, the hosts posted 365 for nine in their 50 overs behind centuries from Temba Bavuma and David Miller. Despite a strong opening partnership, Australia were bowled out for 333 in 49.5 overs to seal the high-scoring contest for South Africa.

Miller produced a career-best 142 from 93 balls, while Bavuma contributed 103 runs. Australian bowler Jack Edwards claimed five for 67, while captain Mitch Marsh and Travis Head each scored 84 in the run chase before the middle order faltered. Bowler Nathan Ellis also suffered a side strain during the match, limiting him to just four overs.
