The hundred was Abhishek’s 11th ton in all T20s, surpassing Virat Kohli for the most centuries in the format.

Abhishek Sharma smashed a 35-ball century during India's third T20I against New Zealand in Wellington on Tuesday. Opening the batting alongside Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in a 199-run chase, Abhishek scored 113 off 38 deliveries, hitting nine fours and 11 sixes. His innings propelled India to 118 runs in the Powerplay and 178 for two by the 10th over.
The century marks Abhishek's 11th in all T20 cricket, breaking Virat Kohli's record of 10 for the most T20 hundreds by an Indian player. It was also his fourth career T20I century, placing him behind only Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell in the international format.
