The 26-year-old scored an unbeaten 210 off 228 balls against Jharkhand in Ranchi on October 27, 2026, just a week after hitting 217 runs against Gujarat. Badoni joined Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir as only the third batter from Delhi to achieve consecutive First-Class double tons.

Badoni's knock propelled Delhi to declare their first innings at 515/5, supported by Sumit Mathur's unbeaten 150. Badoni is now the 21st Indian batter to score double centuries in consecutive First-Class innings, marking the fourth double hundred of his career and his second of the 2026-27 season.
