After the Ranchi chastening, Arshdeep and spinners orchestrate a comeback in hosts’ 14-run win

India's bowling attack rallied to defeat West Indies by 14 runs in the third T20I at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on October 11, 2026. After posting 223 all out, led by Abhishek Sharma's 30-ball 69, India successfully defended the total by restricting West Indies to 209/7. Arshdeep Singh spearheaded the defense with figures of 3/44 alongside vital contributions from the spinners.
The turnaround came after a difficult bowling display in Ranchi 48 hours earlier. Arshdeep dismissed Shai Hope and Sherfane Rutherford, while Naman Dhir took two key wickets, including Shimron Hetmyer and Kamil Pooran, directly after being hit for sixes. Disciplined bowling from Axar Patel further constrained the chase to secure victory for captain Shreyas Iyer's side.
