Wasim Jaffer suggests Sarfaraz Khan's repeated exclusion from national squads may stem from reasons beyond performance, as the batter remains absent from India's Test series against New Zealand.
Former India opener Wasim Jaffer claimed that selectors are excluding batter Sarfaraz Khan from India's Test squad for reasons beyond cricket. Khan was left out of the national squad for the upcoming Test series against New Zealand despite his prolific domestic record.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Jaffer stated that selectors simply do not want to pick Khan regardless of his performances or average. Khan holds a first-class average of 64.02 with 18 centuries, but he has been omitted following his six previous Test appearances.
