India’s bowlers had a clear plan to stop Shai Hope’s impressive run against them, and left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh was delighted to see it work in the third T20I against the West Indies in Indore on Sunday.
Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh revealed that India's bowling unit successfully executed a pre-match strategy to dismiss in-form West Indies captain Shai Hope during the third T20I in Indore. India defended a total of 223 by restricting the West Indies to 209/7, securing a 14-run victory and taking a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Arshdeep bowled Hope for just five runs in the second over and finished with three wickets.
Arshdeep praised the entire bowling attack for maintaining pressure and acknowledged the coaching staff for devising the successful plan. Former West Indies pacer Ian Bishop also commended India's tactical execution, highlighting their use of yorkers, disciplined wide lines, and the helpful absence of dew in Indore.
