Muhammad Shahzad smashes fastest first-class hundred by a Pakistani batter

Muhammad Shahzad scored the fastest first-class century by a Pakistani batter, hitting a hundred off 49 balls. Playing for Pakistan Television against Kingsmen Academy at the Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad, Shahzad compiled 114 runs off 62 balls, including eight sixes and 12 fours, during the President's Trophy third-round match.

Batting at No. 5, Shahzad arrived with PTV at 34 for 3 and built a 143-run partnership with Mohammad Taha. The 49-ball feat broke the previous record of 56 balls set by Misbah-ul-Haq against Australia in 2014.
