PCB eyes Shaun Tait and Martin Guptill for Pakistan coaching roles

The Pakistan Cricket Board is reportedly considering former Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait and former New Zealand batter Martin Guptill for coaching and consultancy positions. According to reports from Geo News, discussions are underway to recruit Tait to handle the bowling department and Guptill to improve Pakistan's fielding setup ahead of the ICC ODI World Cup 2027.

Tait previously served as Pakistan's fast-bowling coach from 2022 to 2023, during which the team reached the 2022 T20 World Cup final. He also recently worked with Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and various T20 franchise leagues, while Guptill is being targeted to leverage his renowned athletic fielding experience.
